Bruce Erlandson
December 2, 2013

Dennis Kurowski provided the following information:

  • Just wanted to let you know that SSA Bruce Erlandson (Retd), passed away on Friday morning, Nov 29th, 2013 at 64 years of age (too young). My former office notified me today and I thought I'd let you know. Services were for family only. Bruce had been suffering from congestive heart disease and type 1 diabetes for a few years. Thursday evening, he excused himself to take a nap and had trouble breathing. An ambulance was called and he was taken to the local hospital were he expired at 5 am, Friday. Bruce was one of our most unforgettable agents. He was known by all and respected for his depth of investigative experience, stories and jokes. I believe he left a wife and two sons. He will be missed.
