Former USDA/OIG Special Agent Lenny Ringel passed away in his sleep from heart failure on 06/14/2004 at the age of 56 at his home in Bayside, Queens, NY. Lenny who retired as an 1811 with SBA/OIG on 06/01/2004 enjoyed about two weeks retirement. He served with USDA/OIG from 12/1976 to 1988 in the NY Field Office. He will be remembered as an individual who took his work seriously but did not take himself seriously. At search warrants and arrests, he was always calm, cool and professional. He will be missed.
