Jeff Thomas, Ron Sidener, Jim Mendenhall and Jim's neighbor Ron Phillips journeyed to Lake Lida this year. We all arrived on Saturday and watched the wind whip up the lake to breakers. No fishing that day. Sunday was pretty much a repeat but, after a breakfast at the Cornfield Cafe, Jim and Ron P. braved the elements with little success. Jeff and Ron S. watched from the comfort of their warm and dry cabin, beers in hand. Monday and Tuesday brought calmer conditions and fishing was pretty good (dodging the rain squalls). Tuesday evening was the fish fry and we ate like kings!
