Floyd Cotton, retired Regional Inspector General for Investigations, Western Region, San Francisco, CA, died July 13, 2018, in Phoenix, AZ.
Floyd started with OIG-Investigations in the Southwest Region, Temple, TX, in 1971 as a special agent and moved to headquarters in 1976 as a desk officer. He transferred to the Department of Commerce OIG with John Granziano and returned with him to OIG-I, USDA and became Director of the Programs Investigation Division. Floyd finally transferred to the Western Region as RIG and retired in the early 1990's.
There will be no funeral or memorial service.
