Paul J. Passafiume, 61, of Edison, N.J., died on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Visitation is Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27), Metuchen, N.J. Services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Helena's R.C. Church, Edison. Cremation will be private. Paul was a member of the St. Joseph High School Fathers Club and an executive board member of the P.B.A. Local 121. He was predeceased by his beloved younger brother, Richard, in 2010. Surviving are his wife, Colleen (nee Slattery); a son, Nicholas Sean; a daughter, Kelly Frances; a sister, Lynda Peterson and her husband, Rick; a sister-in-law, Galla Passafiume, and several nieces and nephews.
