Shirley Medlin McDonald passed away in Granbury, TX on October 4, 2020. Shirley Medlin was the Special Assistant to the IG and advisor on Political matters from 1984 to 1990 to IG's John Graziano and Robert Beuley.  She was appointed to USDA-OIG from the White House via the Reagan Administration.  Shirley left OIG in 1990 and was assigned to the U.S. Forest Service in Utah, where she met her husband, Steve McDonald. Shirley and Steve retired in Granbury, Texas.

  • Shirley Jean McDonald 82, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Born in Flint, Michigan, August 1, 1938, she was the daughter of Irene and William Anderson. Shirley is survived by a sister and two brothers, and a daughter and two sons. Shirley contributed to our country in the Reagan Whitehouse, and for 20 years in the Department of Agriculture, plus volunteering for the past 10 years by sending packages to our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. She moved to Texas in her retirement with her recently departed husband Stephen McDonald.
