Jeff Thomas, Ron Sidener, Jim Mendenhall and Jim's neighbor George Gould ventured to Lake Lida this year. We arrived at the lake on Saturday and immediately got rained out. However, the next three days were picture perfect weather-wise. The lake was low due to the season's drought but everyone caught fish everytime they left the dock. Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass were the main catch, but all smaller than usual for the lake. The largest was about 4 pounds. No walleye this year.
