James F. Walwer, age 65, of Homewood. Beloved husband of Maureen Walwer nee Enright. Loving father of John (Rochelle) Walwer, Matthew (Bea) Walwer, Mike Mullins, Maggie Reese, Mary (Dennis) Florance, Molly (Jeff) Hobbs, Amy (Tim) Orel, Katie (Nick) Barrile, John Patrick Mullins and Christine Mullins. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christopher, Jamie, Jonathan, Jason, Elizabeth, Brian, Zachary, Stacy, Stephanie, Nichole, Patrick, Annie, Terry, Sara, Jack, Emily, Joseph, Cullen, Lauren and Catherine. Great-grandfather of Zachary, Emma, Isabella, Alex, Logan, Lilah, Maverick, Lilah, Robert, Madison and Ryleigh. Dear uncle and cousin to many. Retired U.S. Marshall, also retired from the Village of Hazel Crest Fire Department and Inspectional services after 34 years. Visitation Sunday April 14 from 2 - 8 pm at the Tews Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. James was a Special Agent in OIG's Chicago Regional Office in the 1970's. He left OIG to go to the U.S. Marshal's office.
